Striped Maxi, Graphic Tee, and a Cardigan

April 7, 2015

Hello Loves, bringing you another look involving stripes. Who would have known? Right? I do not know why I have always been so obsessed with stripes. I just can not help it.  I must share a styling secret that I use when I am wanting the maxi skirt look. I have a hard time finding maxi skirts that are comfortable around the tummy area. If you did not know, over the years I have had numerous stomach issues. I literally have the most sensitive stomach and I can not stand things that cut into it, or put pressure on it.  I like to wear a tee or crop top on top of my maxi dresses. You may have already noticed me doing this in some of my other posts. Those elastic bands in most maxis kill me, and this is my solution to that.

The key to pairing a normal tee is the fit and the fabric. You do not want contrasting fabrics or an ill fitting top. The look won't work out otherwise. You want to fold the fitted tee one time to where the bottom sits right at your natural waist. This creates a more flattering figure, rather than letting the tee to hide it by leaving it unfolded.

I also love adding a cardigan to the mix, and I have shown a few examples of how to do that. A bold pop of color never hurts anyone either. It keeps things fun. I also have to give my Jermo (scroll down) a shout out for being so encouraging and supportive all along the way! Oh and isn't his beard awesome? I am in love. Anyways, I hope you all had a good Easter and thank you so much for stopping by.

Mmm-mum and Daa-dee. ❤️
This is the face of being caught where you aren’t suppose to be. 😅 😂 Half smile/smirk, half nervous/scared. 🤣
It may be blurry but it’s still pretty precious. She was laughing and wiggling to much to take pics. Haha
Best quarantine buddy ever.
My mind was shook when I learned something that I have believed most of my life was wrong.

From the show The Big Comfy Couch, the clowns name is Loonette not Luna like I always thought. I’ve always sang “It’s Luna and Molly”
Good thing I have such a sweet isolation partner. She must think the world is so small. I wonder what she will think when she gets to experience life outside of our home again. .

A little throwback to when Daisy was 5 months old. 💓
I hope your weekend was this happy and that you stayed in jammies all day like we did. 🥰
