I'm Never Scooping my Litter Again

October 29, 2018

Hey friends. I am shouting from the rooftops. I have to. I am never scooping my litter again and I am not kidding. I am never doing it again. How, you may ask. It is all thanks to the greatest pet innovation that I have seen recently. It is a product that I ran across a few months ago and immediately knew I had to have. I am talking about the Litter Robot. It seriously has changed my LIFE for the better and I don’t know how I lived without it before. I have never been more excited, than I am right now, to share a product with you.

We have been using the Litter Robot III Open Air with Connect for about two months now, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the product. The Litter Robot is an automatic robot that cleans itself after a cat uses it. Like, WHAT? Are you kidding me? Is this the world we live in now? I love it. Jereme says it looks like Kenny from South Park, but I call it Rosie the Robot maid (from the Jetsons). I am all about innovation, and on board for any new technology that makes my life easier. Any product that can take away some of the more mundane things that I hate to do, sign me up. This product does just that. Scooping the litter is the chore I hate the most. No ones likes doing the litter. It’s gross, but unavoidable.

The robot collects the bathroom clumps in a bag in the bottom of the machine, and it SENDS YOU A NOTIFICATION TO YOUR PHONE when it is full. Can you even believe that? When the chamber is full all you have to do is throw out the old bag and replace it with a new one. The best part is that you never have to touch the litter. If you didn’t know, I have always hated getting my hands dirty. I know this sounds silly, but if I know that a chore is going to make me get dirty, I procrastinate. I am super embarrassed to admit how many times I have procrastinated on cleaning the litter because of that reason. I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten upset at myself for letting the litter get bad. I felt like such a bad cat mom. One day I was so upset at myself, that I prayed to the Lord and ask for help to make me better at staying on top of it. I love my fur babies and I just want the best for them. No joke, he answered my prayer with this machine.

Jereme and I would always get into little arguments over whose turn it was to do the littler. That is no longer an issue. It is so easy, that it is no longer a hassle to do. It takes no time at all. I can proudly say that the LR has helped my marriage, by getting rid of a source of arguing between us. Who would have known.

I could talk to you for so long about this machine, because I truly believe in this product. It is a tad on the pricier side, but I can assure you that is is well worth it. The time and efforts you save from it are worth the price alone, but it also saves you in a practical way too. In the two months that we have had it, we have used less than half of the litter we normally would have used in the old box. If you were to multiply that by a years time, you are getting crazy savings.

When we first got the LR, I was really concerned that the cats might find it intimidating and be too scared to use it. Boy was I wrong. They were intrigued to say the least. They are so fascinated by the cleaning cycle. The sit and stare every time. Before the LR, we had two litter boxes, that took up so much space. We were told that you should have one box per cat, so we did. My cats are weird though, they did not use their own boxes. They peed in one and pooed in the other. Now, we only have to have the one, and if I can help it, I will never go back. Todd has already gotten spoiled to it. Today, the box was full, so it stopped cycling. He was quick to let me know.

I mean how awesome is it that Litter Robot saw a problem and decided to do something about it. That is a company I want to stand behind. The product is so amazing, and I am so grateful to have it. If you decide to try it, please let me know. I leave you today with this gem of an awkward amateur hour video. Have a giggle at my expense. I am no YouTuber and have never made a video like this before. It didn’t turn out how I planned, but sometimes that is life. Making videos is hard. I commend you if you can do it. Thank you for stopping by.

Love Always,

Sarah, Jereme, Todd and Rose.

This is the face of being caught where you aren’t suppose to be. 😅 😂 Half smile/smirk, half nervous/scared. 🤣
It may be blurry but it’s still pretty precious. She was laughing and wiggling to much to take pics. Haha
Best quarantine buddy ever.
My mind was shook when I learned something that I have believed most of my life was wrong.

From the show The Big Comfy Couch, the clowns name is Loonette not Luna like I always thought. I’ve always sang “It’s Luna and Molly”
Good thing I have such a sweet isolation partner. She must think the world is so small. I wonder what she will think when she gets to experience life outside of our home again. .
