Another Way to Wear this Sequin Dress

March 9, 2016

Hey, lovelies. I hope you are having a great week so far. Time is flying by so fast. I wanted to update everyone that Jereme and I are back to Signs of Hope after our three month hiatus. (We make Christian themed home decor scripture signs and wooden symbols such as hearts and arrows.) It was so nice to have time alone with no responsibilities, but now it is time to get back to real life. If you are in the Little Rock, Bryant, or Benton area, we have a booth at The Painted Tree Vintage. By we I mean my family and I. We are a family owned business. My Mother-in-law is the Mother goose of the operation and our whole family plays some type of role in creating the signs and hearts. If you are not in that area, be sure to check out our Etsy store and our social media to keep up with what is new. I also have a tab that will take you to our website. Stay tuned, we have some exciting news coming in July regarding S.O.H. Also, a portion of our earnings go to end human trafficking and prostitution in the U.S.

Today I get to share another way to wear this little sequined number. It is such a fun little piece, and it is so versatile. Some days I just need to glam things up a bit, and this dress makes that so easy. It creates a centerpiece for conversation ( and much feeling) that is for sure. You have been warned. The sequins reverse and people tend to just want to feel it. Or they want to reverse the sequins to spell out words or patterns. My little brother wrote "poop" on my back the last time a wore it. (Thanks Tristan.) It is also super inexpensive, which is right up my alley. Hey, I am a baller on a [tight] budget. If I could afford to dress the way I envision... whew, blogging world watch out. I would give you an actual run for your money. But since I have other cares and priorities, I do the best I can with what a can. I am telling you, if you were to give me a page of shoes to choose from without showing me the prices, I guarantee that I would pick the most expensive one on the page. Ugh. It really is so annoying and unintentional. I guess it is better to have expensive taste than poor taste, right? Every now and then a blessing does fall in my lap though.

Get the look: Dress , Pumps , Tights

My hair is also FINALLY starting to grow back out again. Praise the LORD. I was so sad that so much had broken off. I had a constant halo of fly-away's, and I am here to tell you, that is not a good look. Hormones are no joke. I did not realize that hair issues were even a thing associated with a miscarriage. Apparently it is really common though, even after normal a pregnancy. It also happens if you get really sick too, which I did not know. My bonus-mom April and my Mother-in-love Hope both just dealt with this too. I think a hair monster was out to get us. Not today Satan!! Not today.

This week I hope you try to spend more time loving others and less time judging them. No one is perfect, and no one knows the will of God. The person you may be looking down upon is probablly going through more than you could ever imagine. We are all sinners and we are all in this together. We are not here to judge. Remember that you will be judged by the same hand. Be encouraging to the person that needs it most this week. Stop criticizing other people for not living exactly the way that you think they should. Start loving others for who and what they are right where they are. Remember, you are NOT better than a SINGLE person. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an awesome week. God Bless YOU.

“36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.””
— Matthew 12:36-37
“1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?”
— Romans 2:1-3

Mmm-mum and Daa-dee. ❤️
This is the face of being caught where you aren’t suppose to be. 😅 😂 Half smile/smirk, half nervous/scared. 🤣
It may be blurry but it’s still pretty precious. She was laughing and wiggling to much to take pics. Haha
Best quarantine buddy ever.
My mind was shook when I learned something that I have believed most of my life was wrong.

From the show The Big Comfy Couch, the clowns name is Loonette not Luna like I always thought. I’ve always sang “It’s Luna and Molly”
Good thing I have such a sweet isolation partner. She must think the world is so small. I wonder what she will think when she gets to experience life outside of our home again. .
