Huge thanks in part to the recent snow last week and being stuck at home, I got the chance to shoot some looks from my winter wardrobe. I am going to upload an outfit for each day for the rest of the week. I hope you enjoy. I used these boots and faux leather tights as a base for all of the looks (except one). So, if you have something similar, it would be ver easy to recreate. I love the versatility of the two items, and I really wanted to showcase that for you.

For this look pulled the classic heartstrings with the red and houndstooth combo. I paired this oversized bright red poncho with faux leather leggings and houndstooth accessories. It has always been my rule of thumb to contrast a loose fitting piece with a tight one in order to balance the look. I love that these messenger/train conductor/newsboy hats are coming back. They are such a fun accessory. (By the way, I am really in a hat mood this week. You have been warned.) The outfit deets are linked below.

Moving on, Jereme and I just went to see The Greatest Showman. You guys, it was so good. If you like musicals, this is a must see. It inspired me and motivated me more than ever, to never let my dreams go and to work even harder for them. I won't spoil the movie, but I wish I could be have as passionate about achieving one goal as Barnum was. I strive to care less about the opinions of others just like in the movie. I'm telling you, it was so good. I can't wait to see it again. What are your plans for the rest of the week? If you have nothing to do, I suggest going to see this movie for sure.
