Hey, lovelies. Some of you may already know, but I just celebrated my twenty-fifth birthday. I seriously can not believe how fast time is flying. I had the best birthday.I got to spend it with my sweetie of a husband and he took me shopping, to dinner with our family, and to a movie. It was a much needed day out on the town. To top it off, I got to take these sweet pictures. This look is perfect for a birthday or a Valentines Day date. Since my birthday is so close to Valentines Day, I usually mesh the two.
So today, I have to chat with you about a sweet little boutique that I stumbled upon over that weekend. It is the I Do Declare Boutique. I snagged this flirty little velvet dress and the cupcake purse from one of their physical locations at the Shoppes on Woodlawn. If you are local, you should really check it out. It is the sweetest thing ever and full of fun feminine pieces. I know the website is out of these purses, but I was so happy that I found one in store. Not to mention, I had the perfect opportunity to wear this it; because, why not? Who doesn't love a cupcake? What better day to wear it than my birthday?

I fell in love with the dress the moment I saw it online, however, I wanted to wear it a little more fitted than the model. Thankfully the sleeves were perfect to allow me to do that.Sometimes you can't size down a piece because of the sleeves, however I no issue with this dress. I was pretty happy about that too because I have pretty long arms. I paired the dress with my favorite leggings for a more casual feel and my leather booties.
For jewelry, I wore one of my vintage cameo necklaces. I think it compliments the look so well and is so me. Fun fact, I love to collect vintage cameos. I have a pretty little collection going of all sorts, sizes, and colors. I am always on the lookout for them.
