Hello Loves! I am excited to be back to the blogging world. I took a wee break. I hope you all can forgive me. Jereme and I got some news that isn't the greatest, and I am sure that I will tell you all about it when I have more to tell. So if you are interested in that, stay tuned. Until then, I now have the pleasure of Welcoming the newest member to the Hood-lum gang. Meet baby Everett David!
How wonderful are babies? I can't even begin to describe. Last week, I had the honor of witnessing my nephew grace the world with his presence. That's right, I got to watch the whole thing and take pictures. Womens bodies are amazing. It is truly a phenomenon to see the process. I forget how nervous it makes me feel every time though.
Briana, my so sweet sister-in-law gave birth to one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. She was such a champ too. She was such a strong pusher and she couldn't have had a better labor. Jordan was a joke-ster through the entire process. I think we all were. We had those nurses laughing the whole time. It was such a blessing to get to be a part of something so special and sweet for Bri.
What Briana does not know is how much of a favor being in there was to me. I grew so much more in love with Jereme, it is not even funny. I honestly do not know how I could love him more, but it happened. Seeing his love and concern for baby E made me know that he will be such a great dad in the future. Seeing him hold the baby and just love on him was the sweetest sight ever. It made my heart jump for joy. When we left the hospital, he asked me if that made me want to have babies. I said "actually I have never wanted a baby less than I do right now. You don't know what I just saw!' In turn, I asked him the same question and he said that it did make him want them.
I have been watching Jereme this past week interact with baby Everett, and I am just so positive that he will undoubtedly be the best dad ever. I mean just look at him hold that little guy. How could that not make you happy? Jordan, you're alright too. Ha. I am kidding. My brother-in-law will be just as good of a Daddy to this baby as he is to his first pride and joy. They sure were raised right.
I can not wait to see what God has in store for this little baby. I know that he will be warrior for his kingdom. "The Lord is with you mighty warrior. Everett means hardy; brave, and I know he will be just that. I speak life over baby E right now, and I pray for a strong Godly man. Please join me in that prayer.
